Somdev will now take on Spaniard Daniel Munoz-De La Nava in the first round of the main draw.
Somdev had earlier defeated Italian Matteo Viola 6-4 1-6 6-4 in his first qualifying round before prevailing over Quentin Halys of France 7-6 6-3 in the next round.
