Instagram 4.1 update lets you import videos from phone's media library
Video on Instagram is now available for devices running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

New Delhi: Instagram has now announced a new update to its app, thereby allowing users to upload videos from their phones' media library. Once you select the video clip you would like to import, you can trim it down.

Earlier, the app only allowed users to record 15-second video clips, but now users can choose up to 15 seconds of video content from the clips already there in the media library. The company has made it so that you can choose how you square-crop your clip so you can keep the action front and centre.

Also, the company announced Automatic Straightening for iOS. Explaining this new feature in a blog post, the company says, "There are few things more distracting than a crooked horizon in a photo. We're happy to announce that we've developed a brand new technology that brings you straight photos instantly. When you take a photo with the in-app camera, you can now tap the new Straighten icon and your photo will correct to be level."

The straightening tool also includes a slider so you can rotate and adjust any photo - including ones imported from your photo library - as much or as little as you'd like.
