In the digital age, an entrepreneurial mindset is taking over the world, as it gives people the freedom to work on their terms and choices. Recently, a seven-year-old girl has been in the limelight for starting her own ice cream business along with her studies. The internet has lauded her for being an entrepreneur at such a young age.
According to reports, the name of the girl is Adrika Basu Roy, who studies in Class 2 at the Stratford Day School in Habra, West Bengal. In an interview, her mother revealed that her journey as an entrepreneur started when she was very young. She revealed that she had always been interested in making videos on YouTube and used to shoot them every day.
Eventually, she thought of starting her ice cream stall. She didn’t want to do it for herself but also wanted others to join as well. As a result, she started selling ice cream and asked all her followers to come to her stall and savour the ice cream.
She has set up her ice cream stall outside her house and spends most of her time there after school. Seeing her daughter’s success, the mother has also set up a homemade curd stall next to her. In just a few days in this business, young Adrika has memorised the names of various ice creams and their prices. Ice cream is given to customers who come to the shop according to demand. People are quite impressed by her efforts. The business has been running well, and people love taking ice cream from her.
