Rumi: Arden Cho (speaking) and EJAE (singing)
Arden Cho is the main voice of Rumi, the leader of HUNTR/X, who you may recognize from Teen Wolf or Chicago Med. When Rumi sings, Korean-American vocal producer and singer EJAE takes over. EJAE has written music for other K-pop groups like TWICE and Red Velvet, and she also helped write a lot of the songs on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.
Mira: May Hong (speaking) and Audrey Nuna (singing)
When Mira’s speaking, actress May Hong lends her voice to Mira, the lead dancer of HUNTR/X. While she hasn’t been in much else, you may have seen her in small roles in Hacks, Fantasmas, and Full Circle. Audrey Nuna is a singer from New Jersey known for songs that break out from the genre norm, so she’s a perfect fit as Mira’s singing voice.
Zoey: Ji-young Yoo (speaking) and Rei Ami (singing)
Ji-Young Yoo plays the Korean-American character Zoey, the lyricist and rapper for HUNTR/X. She previously acted in Until Dawn, Smoking Tigers, Sweet Home, and Expats. Whenever Zoey sings, Korean-American singer-songwriter Rei Ami takes over, who got huge on TikTok after her song “Freak” went viral.
Jinu: Ahn Hyo-seop (speaking) and Andrew Choi (singing)
As the cool and collected leader of the Saja Boys, Ahn Hyo-seop from shows like Still 17, Business Proposal, and A Time Called You takes charge during all the speaking parts. When it’s his time to sing, singer-songwriter Andrew Choi takes over. Choi got third place in K-Pop Star’s second season, and has composed music for other K-pop artists like Monsta X and NCT 127.
Romance Saja: Joel Kim Booster (speaking) and samUIL Lee (singing)
Comedian and Fire Island star Joel Kim Booster voices the pink-haired Romance Saja, as well as other small characters in the movie. When Romance sings, the singer samUIL Lee (formerly known as Taebot) takes over, who’s known for working with artists like Seventeen and RIIZE.
Baby Saja: Danny Chung
Baby Saja is the quiet, blue-haired member of the Saja Boys who doesn’t have any normal speaking roles. When he raps during the Saja Boys songs, the Korean-American rapper and songwriter Danny Chung voices him. Chung has made music of his own as well as written for BLACK PINK, CL, and Somi.
Abby Saja: Sungwon Cho (speaking) and Neckwav (singing)
Abby, or Abs, Saja is the muscular member of the group, and he’s voiced by actor and YouTuber Sungwon Cho (better known as ProZD on YouTube). When Abs starts singing with the group, Seoul-based singer and producer Neckwav takes over vocal duties.
Mystery Saja: Alan Lee (speaking) and Kevin Woo (singing)
Alan Lee plays Mystery Saja, the purple-haired member of the Saja Boys. You may recognize Lee from his other roles in Past Lives, Solo Leveling, or Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. Kevin Woo, a former member of U-KISS and uBEAT, voices Mystery whenever the Saja Boys break into song.
Celine: Yunjin Kim (speaking) and Lea Solanga (singing)
Celine is one of the older Demon Hunters from the group Sunlight Sisters, and is voiced by Yunjin Kim from Lost, XO Kitty, and Shiri. When Celine sings, singer and Broadway performer Lea Salonga takes over. You may recognize her singing voice from Aladdin and Mulan—she sang as Jasmine and Mulan in those films, respectively.
Gwi-Ma: Lee Byung-hun
Lee Byung-hun plays the demon ruler Gwi-Ma, who sends the Saja Boys after HUNTR/X. You may recognize Lee Byung-hun as the frontman from Squid Game or from shows like Our Blues or Mr. Sunshine.
Bobby: Ken Jeong
Bobby is HUNTR/X’s manager, played by the comedian and actor Ken Jeong. Jeong is notably one of the judges on The Masked Singer, but he has acted in multiple films and series, including The Hangover, Crazy Rich Asians, Over the Moon, and Community.
Host: Liza Koshy
When HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys perform on a TV show in the movie, actress and YouTuber Liza Koshy plays the show’s host who introduces the groups. Koshy is also known for her roles in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Freakish, and The Naked Gun.
