An Army team reached the Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh, the crash site of the Pawan Hans helicopter that went missing on August 4.

Itanagar: An Army team reached the Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh, the crash site of the Pawan Hans helicopter that went missing on August 4, and tried to recover the bodies of the three crew members who were on board, on Wednesday.

Tirap Deputy Commissioner Kamlesh Kumar Joshi and captains MS Brar and Rajeev Hoskote were on board the chopper as it took off from Khonsa in Arunachal Pradesh. The chopper went missing shortly afterwards.

A massive search operation was undertaken and after a weeklong search, the wreckage of the helicopter was finally found on Monday in Tirap.
