The Andhra University Visakhapatnam has begun the online registration process for the AP State Eligibility Test or AP SET 2024. Those interested and eligible can apply for the exam on the official websites at apset.net.in and andhrauniversity.edu.in. The application process will conclude on March 6, 2024.

According to the official schedule, the AP SET 2024 admit card will be issued on April 19, and the exam is slated to be conducted on April 28. The AP SET 2024 exam consists of two papers and is held for a duration of one hour.

The exam is conducted by the university to hire assistant professors and lecturers across degree colleges and universities in the state. Those who want to take part in the recruitment drive will have to apply online. There is no age limit for appearing in AP SET.

AP SET 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: First, go to the official website of the AP SET 2024 — apset.net.in

Step 2: Then search for the registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Go and click the registration link

Step 4: Register yourself and then processed further

Step 5: Fill out the form with accurate information

Step 6: Upload all the documents that are listed on the form

Step 7: Pay the application fees online

Step 8: After completing the procedure, submit the form.

Step 9: Take a print out of the AP SET 2024 acknowledgment form for future reference.

As per the official notice, candidates belonging to the general and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 1200 as exam fees. Those belonging to the BC category will have to pay Rs 1000 and those belonging to SC, ST, PWD, and transgender categories will have to pay Rs 700 to register for the exam. Candidates are also required to pay convenience charges along with the exam fees. “No cancellation/refund inquiries will be entertained, once the registration is done, under any circumstances except in case of multiple transactions made against the same registration no. No chargeback / refund requests shall be entertained otherwise,” the official notice stated.
