Gunther made a special appearance on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW following his historic triumph at the ‘King and Queen of the Ring’ event in Saudi Arabia last Saturday. The newly crowned ‘King’ emphatically celebrated the victory before engaging in trash talks with Damian Priest.
Gunther challenged the reigning World Heavyweight Championship in a title match. The clash may headline the upcoming SummerSlam as WWE creative director Triple H wants the winners of the King and Queen tournament finale to feature in championship matches at the upcoming SummerSlam.

Gunther and Priest earlier faced off for the Intercontinental Championship where the former put his title on the line. Priest emerged victorious on that occasion to become the new champ.
Gunther claims Priest took a shortcut to clinch the victory and he won’t let it happen this time.
Priest stepped up on the ring and countered the statement, affirming that he won the title match fairly but Gunther couldn’t digest the defeat.
Drew McIntyre was also part of the opening segment and revealed that he was the No. 1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Gunther avoided the discussion and left the ring before Braun Strowman and JD McDonagh entered the ring for the first match of the night.
Let’s take a look at the results of May 27’s episode of Monday Night RAW:-
Braun Strowman vs JD McDonagh: Finn Alen and Cartilo caused some interference, assisting JD McDonagh. Strowman overcame all odds and pulled off the power slam to beat McDonagh.
Ricochet vs Ilja Dragunov: When both wrestlers were engaged in the fight, Bron Breakker made a sudden appearance and attacked Richochet. Breaker tried to counter but ended up receiving a spear. It helped Richochet secure a win via disqualification.
The Authors of Pain vs. The Creed Brothers: Scarlett attacked Ivy Nile outside the ring when the tag-team match was underway. The distraction allowed AOP to take down Julius Creed with the finisher and pick up a comfortable win.
Kairi Sane vs Lyra Valkyria: Sane launched a crazy elbow for a near fall. Valkyria managed to block it with her feet up and won the singles fight.
Carlito vs Rey Mysterio: The match went outside the ring after Cartilo countered a sunset flip with a facebuster. Mysterio ultimately sealed the deal with the frog splash.
Bronson Reed vs Otis: Chad Gable came up on the apron to attack Otis. It allowed Breed to launch the Tsunami to secure a win.
Women’s Championship Steel Cage Match: Liv Morgan vs Becky Lynch: Dominik Mysterio interfered and opened the cage door. He was sent into the fight zone by Braun Strowman. The distraction helped Liv Morgan to get out of the cage and retain the Women’s Championship.
