The Rock confronted new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on Monday’s Raw after WrestleMania, telling the new title holder that “our story has just begun,” and promising to some for Rhodes when he next returns to WWE.
Cody Rhodes finished his story by beating Roman Reigns to claim the WWE Universal Championship, ending a historic reign of the Bloodline’s Tribal chief.
In an epic and chaotic main event that saw the return of John Cena, The Architect of the Shield ‘Seth Rollins’ and finally, The Undertaker to take out the final boss The Rock, Rhodes created a historic moment in WWE history in the main event of WWE Wrestlemania 40.

While Cody thought he may have finished the story at Wrestlemania, The Rock showed up on Monday Night Raw today, despite his loss to congratulate Rhodes on his victory and remind him that their feud had just begun.
He also said that his late father – WWE Hall of Fame member Dusty Rhodes – had a ‘big smile’ on his face at the end of WrestleMania 40. He also presented Rhodes with the belt given to him by Muhammad Ali’s widow at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
The Rock then interrupted traded jabs with the Philadelphia crowd, before ultimately explaining that he “has to go away for a little while,” a reference to the fact that Rock is expected to step away from WWE for his projects in Hollywood. To which Cody replied stating that he is looking forward to their story unfolding.
But before the end of their segment, he passed on an unknown object to Rhodes as the two shook hands, as The Rock told Rhodes to ‘never break my heart again’.
