Mangoes are one of the most loved fruits. Though most of us want to have the fruit all year round, it is typically a one-season fruit. One farmer from the city of Darbhanga (Bihar) has a variety of mango trees in his orchard which bear fruits throughout the year. The most interesting thing is the trees simultaneously bear flowers, raw mangoes and ripe mangoes. There are dozens of such trees in his orchard. You might have not often seen mango trees like this that bear fruits all year round. Typically, the trees we come across usually bear fruit once a year during the summer season; but at this place, you will get mangoes in every season.

The orchard we are talking about here belongs to a man named Akhilesh Chaudhary. He has planted dozens of such trees in his orchard that bear fruits throughout the year. He takes care of his own garden and works hard to maintain the trees. In an interview with Local 18, he mentioned, “The mangoes are available in every season of the year except some months. During those months the mangoes ripe.” The man added that once the mangoes become ripe the trees start flowering immediately. The cycle continues ensuring a constant supply of mangoes.

The variety of mangoes that are available in the orchard of Akhilesh often amazes people. He said, “The mangoes are very sweet in taste and people often love them. The uniqueness of these trees is that in one tree you can find flowers, unripe mangoes and ripe mangoes at the same time. People often get amazed by seeing such kinds of trees. These trees were brought from Muzaffarpur.” When asked about how much each mango weighs he said, “All the mangoes weigh around 500 grams or more. None of the fruits you will find here will be less than 500 grams.” This variety of mango has amazed thousands of people as now, it is possible to get mangoes any time.
