A bone-chilling video that captures a heart-pounding encounter between a man and a snake has got the internet’s attention, sending ripples across social media users. Shared on the X platform, the gripping short clip is not just scary but also a testament to how unexpected encounters can put a person’s life at risk. As the video plays, the man can be seen approaching his front door, however, is taken aback as the reptile pops out and attacks him. However, the man luckily managed to escape unharmed and backed off from the door.

Reacting to the video, social media users took to the comment section and shared their views. A user wrote, “It’s a rat snake. Usually if you wonder how it got there, it’s a rat snake. Pretty wild to watch how they climb up brick”, while another mentioned, “I had a huge one of these rat snakes living under my house for years. He’d come out to sun himself & I would talk to him. I named him Bob. He wasn’t afraid of me, and would let me get pretty close to him. I liked him because I had no mice as long as he lived here. I miss Bob.”

Snake hiding on entrance door bites man on head

Earlier this year, another ‘hiss-terical’ video captured the internet’s attention after an unsuspecting man was attacked by a rat snake. The reptile which was hiding on top of the door bit him on the head.

The video posted on TikTok shows the footage captured by the doorbell camera. As soon as the man unlocks the front door, the sneaky serpent hiding on top of the front door immediately bites him on the head, leaving the man in a state of shock.

“I got bit, I got bit,” the man started yelling as he stood in horror.
