Every day till Christmas users get to play new games and follow Santa in his journey around the world.

New Delhi: As the Christmas fever kicks in, Google has launched its Santa Tracker - an interactive portal for users to experience the holiday season with games, videos, maps, charity initiatives, all with a little bit of coding lessons thrown in between.

For the 11th year in a row, the Santa Tracker opened with Santa Village on December 1 that started the countdown for Santa's departure on December 24. Every day till Christmas users get to play new games and follow Santa in his journey around the world.

The highlight of this year's Santa Tracker is its focus on learning that includes basic coding lessons, geography quizzes, translations, information about Christmas rituals around the world, and more. In collaboration with certain NGOs and non-profits, Google aims to bring to attention some critical issues through the Santa Tracker.

While a few of the games and interactive lessons have been unlocked by now, some of the upcoming experiences include Code Boogie, Season of Caring, and the ultimate Santa's Takeoff.

The Tracker will go live on December 24 when users will be able to follow Santa on his route through all the cities and places he visits by searching for Santa directly in Google Maps, through Street View , Cardboard or through the main tracker.

The Santa Tracker is available on Google Play Store as a free app.
