Kheda: In a bid to woo minorities, BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated a multi-speciality hospital run by Muslims in Kheda in Gujarat.

While addressing the people during the event, Modi asserted, "In last seven years we have not seen a single instance of polio in Gujarat."

Modi went on to say, "Polio affected a lot of people earlier. There was a BJP government in Delhi and party leader Dr Harsh Vardhan was the health minister, he had started a mission and that mission was adopted by Atal Bihari Vajpaee's government too."

He also said that Gujarat had done maximum blood and eye donation.
