The Delhi Chief Minister also questioned the remark of Lt Governor Najeeb Jung wherein the latter said that he was the "government of Delhi".

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday wrote a strongly-worded letter to Lt Governor Najeeb Jung, targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing rift in the national capital.

In his letter, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor accused the Lt Governor of making the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) ineffective on the directions of Prime Minister Modi.

"Just as the PM has made the ACB ineffective, the L-G is now making the DCW ineffective on PM's direction," said Kejriwal in the letter.

"The DCW is completely out of jurisdiction of L-G, and he asking for file is completely undemocratic and amounts to blackmail," said the Chief Minister.

The Delhi Chief Minister also questioned the remark of Lt Governor Najeeb Jung wherein the latter said that he was the "government of Delhi".

"The government is chosen by the people. How can one person call himself the government," said the AAP leader, terming the claim by the L-G as "laughable".
