The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) issued the notification for DSSSB Recruitment 2024 for various teaching and non-teaching posts. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can submit the applications online through the official website of DSSSB at dsssbonline.nic.in. Starting from January 9, 2024, the online registration for DSSSB Recruitment will culminate on February 7, 2024.
DSSSB Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
Under this recruitment campaign, the board aims to recruit a total of 4,214 eligible candidates for the post included in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ categories both in Non-Teaching and Teaching in the organization. Among the offered posts, there are 297 vacancies for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), 1,455 for Assistant Teacher (Nursery), 2,354 for Lower Division Clerk, Junior Assistant, Stenographer Grade 2, Junior Stenographer, LDC-Cum-Typist, Stenographer and Assistant Grade 1 posts, and 108 forSection Officer (Horticulture).
DSSSB Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit:
Candidates willing to apply for the position must be between the ages of 18 and 27 as of January 12, 2024.
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Candidates applying for this post are required to have a master’s degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University. They must also have a degree/diploma in training/ Education.
In addition to that, 3 years of experience teaching in a College, Higher Secondary School, or High School in the subject concerned is required.
Assistant Teacher (Nursery): The qualification required for an assistant teacher post is a Diploma in Nursery Teaching.
SO (Horticulture): For the post of SO (Horticulture), candidates need a degree in Agriculture or Horticulture.
DSSSB Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process for the recruitment of the above-mentioned process involves three mandatory stages: Written examination, skill test and document verification.
Written examination: Candidates have to qualify for the written examination held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
Skill Test: Upon completing the CBT exam, candidates will advance to the skill test, which involves shorthand or typing, depending on the specific requirements of the applied-for position.
Document Verification: After the skill test, candidates will progress to the final stage, which is document verification, where relevant documents undergo a thorough examination for verification purposes.
DSSSB Recruitment 2024: Application fees
According to the official notification, Candidates falling under the general category need to pay an application fee of Rs 100 at the time of registration to apply for the DSSSB Recruitment 2024. However, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from paying the application fee.
