Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan are all set to star in a series titled Citadel. Fans are already eagerly waiting for the release. Amid this, today the actor shared a photo today which drew a hilarious reaction from Samantha. The actress couldn’t resist chiming in with her witty commentary but it was Varun’s sassy reply which stole the attention.

Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram handle and shared a photo in which he can be seen sporting a cleanshaven. No caption needed. Taking to the comment section, Samantha wrote, “Who this teenager?” On this Varun Dhawan replied to the star, “Samantha Ruth Prabhu, I don’t know. I think he’s working with this pretty hot girl this summer in a series.” Rapper Badshah also dropped heart emojis in the comments.

Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers. According to strong reports, the actress is performing high-octane action sequences in the film along with Varun Dhawan.

While the team is staying tight-lipped about Citadel India, Priyanka Chopra recently opened up about the same and revealed that the storylines are connected to each other. PeeCee headlined the American version of the show. She mentioned that she cannot wait to see Raj and DK’s work and appreciated the filmmakers saying, “Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I’m very excited.”

Apart from Citadel, Varun Dhawan is currently busy with Atlee for his next. This is the first time Atlee and Varun Dhawan are working together. It is going to be Atlee’s second Hindi film after Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster, Jawan. Varun was most recently seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s love drama Bawaal, which is streaming on Prime Video. According to reports, Varun Dhawan is also working on the remake of the South Indian film Theri, which stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, and Sheeba Chaddha.
