Rashmika Mandanna Shares 'Pack Up' Story From Sets Of Dhanush-Starrer Kubera

Rashmika Mandanna and Dhanush’s upcoming film, Kubera, has been generating a lot of buzz since its announcement. Directed by the renowned Sekhar Kammula, the movie is set to be a thrilling mobster drama, with Akkineni Nagarjuna playing a pivotal role. Recently, Rashmika shared a glimpse from the sets, indicating the completion of a day’s shoot for Kubera. She shared a serene image of the night sky on her Instagram story, accompanied by the caption, “And it’s pack up! Kubera,” confirming reports that the film has now entered the production phase.

Reports suggest that the filming for Kubera kicked off in Mumbai on April 23. Rashmika Mandanna has also joined Dhanush’s filming schedule, with the filmmakers reportedly prioritising their sequences to accommodate their other commitments.

In Kubera, Dhanush portrays a character who starts as a homeless man but eventually rises to become a powerful mafia lord. Alongside Rashmika and Dhanush, the film also features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh in significant roles. Produced by Suniel Narang under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Kubera has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film will have a pan-Indian release.

The release date for Kubera is yet to be announced, but it is anticipated to hit screens in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. With a talented cast, intriguing storyline and promising direction, Kubera is undoubtedly a film to watch out for in the coming months.

Aside from Kubera, Rashmika is also gearing up for her role in the action-packed thriller Pushpa: The Rule, which stars Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Dhananjaya and Jagadeesh Prathap.

Additionally, Rashmika has Rahul Ravindran’s suspense film The Girlfriend lined up, where she will be seen opposite Dheekshith Shetty.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is preparing for his directorial debut, Raayan, which promises to be an action thriller. Additionally, he will be seen in the biopic Ilaiyaraaja, directed by Arun Matheswaran. The film’s music will be composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja himself, adding to the excitement surrounding its release. Produced by Connekkt Media, PK Prime Production and Mercuri Movies, Ilaiyaraaja is expected to be a treat for fans of the music maestro.
