Jennifer Lopez On High Alert, Megan Fox Deletes Social Media Posts After Diddy's Arrest. All You Need To Know
Jennifer Lopez's team is preparing for the possibility that more attention will be drawn to the 1999 shooting of a woman named Natania Reuben.

A week after Sean Diddy Combs was arrested in Manhattan on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, several other celebs, including Jennifer Lopez and Megan Fox, previously linked with music mogul are on high alert. Lopez’s team is reportedly on high alert as they brace for potential fallout, particularly related to an old shooting incident that involved both Diddy and Lopez.

According to sources from the Daily Mail, the team is preparing for the possibility that more attention will be drawn to the 1999 shooting of a woman named Natania Reuben. “There were crisis talks this week to discuss how, and if, Jennifer should respond if the ongoing case drags up the past. Jennifer was there when the incident happened, and some people in the industry are giving her side-eye,” a source revealed. The source added that JLo’s team doesn’t expect any direct negative impact on her career but is working to avoid any potential public relations crises.

Another insider mentioned that revisiting the infamous nightclub shooting case, which Lopez has worked to leave behind, would be especially painful for the singer-actress. “She has spent 25 years trying to forget it. She’s had the worst year of her life, and now this Diddy situation is just reopening old wounds,” the source shared.

The incident in question reportedly took place when JLo and Diddy were a couple, dating from 1999 to 2001. One night at a Manhattan nightclub, a violent altercation broke out between Diddy’s entourage, including his bodyguard Anthony Wolf Jones, and other patrons. Reports claim that Combs knocked a drink out of a man’s hand, which escalated into chaos when someone threw money at the rapper. Gunfire erupted and three people were injured, including Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face.

While Lopez and Combs fled the scene, they were arrested hours later. Lopez was released without charges, but Diddy and his bodyguard were put on trial, only to be acquitted. To this day, Diddy has maintained that he was not involved in the shooting and did not own a gun, reports The Independent.

Amid these issues, tensions are high, especially as more celebrities seem to be distancing themselves from Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles. Some industry A-listers, including Megan Fox, Usher and P!nk have reportedly deleted their posts with Diddy amid his legal troubles.

Fox is the latest one to delete all of her Instagram posts and wipe her X (formerly Twitter) account. It has led her fans to wonder if it’s connected to Diddy’s arrest.

Diddy is currently facing charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, with allegations that date back to even the 1990s.

Fox isn’t the only one making social media moves. Usher, who lived with Diddy during his teenage years, also removed his posts from X. In a resurfaced interview on The Howard Stern Show, Usher recalled seeing “very curious things” while staying with Diddy. “I got a chance to see some things… I don’t know if I could indulge and even understand what I was looking at,” he said.

P!nk followed suit, deleting her posts around the same time as Fox and Usher, although no direct connection between the three and Diddy has been confirmed.
