Amid the confusion regarding Bigg Boss OTT 3, it has now been reported that the upcoming season of the reality show has not been cancelled. Recently, the popular X handle ‘The Khabri’ reported that the reports regarding the cancellation of Bigg Boss OTT 3 are false. It claimed that the show is likely to premiere in the first week of June.
This means that Salman Khan will return as the host of the show despite the firing incident. Last week, Bigg Boss’ production house Endemol Shine India took to its official Instagram handle to announce Bigg Boss OTT 3. They shared a poster in which Salman was seen pointing towards the audience as he also asked, “Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT.” However, the post was deleted later. This had left netizens wondering if Bigg Boss OTT 3 had been cancelled due to Salman Khan’s security reasons.

On April 14, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested the two accused from Gujarat’s Bhuj later and brought them to Mumbai. The accused were identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Top Mumbai Police sources also told News18 that Lawrence’s gang was behind the attack and it was carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates the Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan.
Later, Salman Khan’s security was also increased. The actor earlier had two PSOs. Now, two commandos, two escort vehicles and 11 cops under the Y+ category security have also been provided to him. Additionally, personnel in the security convoy will carry two automatic guns.
It should be noted that Salman Khan has not issued any statement regarding the firing incident as of now. However, previously, his father Salim Khan spoke to India Today about the incident when he said, “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it.”
