After a long break, Babu Namboothiri is back in mainstream Malayalam cinema. Director MA Nishad, who last directed Iyer Kanda Dubai has announced his next film. The film is titled Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam and features Shine Tom Chacko, Mukesh, Vani Viswanath, Samuthirakani and Ashokan in lead roles. KV Abdul Nazar is producing the film under the banner of Benzy Productions. Babu Namboothiri will play an important role in the film Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam.
This comes after 2014 when he only starred in the art film Ottamaram in 2023. The shooting of Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam began on Monday, April 22 in Kottayam, Kerala.
The film, which is a pure investigative crime thriller, centres on a father and a senior police officer. Under the banner of Benzi Productions, this film is produced by Abdul Nasser. In a simple ceremony at Kottayam PWD Rust House, the Minister for Cooperation, VN Vasavan inaugurated the shooting by performing the puja rituals.
