Anjali Anand Shares Moving Note On Father's Birth Anniversary: 'We Keep Your Heart Beating'

On her late father’s birth anniversary, Anjali Anand reminisced about their unbreakable bond by sharing a collection of throwback pictures. Alongside these cherished memories, she penned an emotional note and expressed her love and longing. Additionally, she humbly requested her well-wishers to keep her father in their prayers.

“I keep wondering, every single day, not a day goes by when I don’t imagine an alternate universe where you’re still alive and I get to live life with you. Where I don’t have to wonder how you would be if you were here. Where you see all that is happening for me. Where you see how tall I grew.” The actress mentioned that she hopes her father could see that she was an adult now and has a successful professional life where “people know her, people love her.” Anjali hoped that her father knew the friends who adore her a lot and that those with whom he had worked were her colleagues too. She expressed, “They remember you very fondly, Pa. Someone once said that shooting with me felt like they were on a set again with you. I couldn’t contain my tears,” she wrote.

Anjali shared that her family strongly believes her late father is still present with them, stating, “We keep your heart beating.” Reflecting on his birth anniversary, she expressed her contemplation on how they would have celebrated if he were alive – from choosing the cake to planning the evening’s menu or outing. Expressing her longing for her father’s presence, Anjali voiced her desire for numerous conversations and moments they would have shared

“There’s so many things I want to tell you, so many conversations I want to have with you. But those will have to wait, Pa,” she added.

Nonetheless, she emphasised her commitment to pursuing her dreams diligently. Anjali expressed her determination to work hard, aiming to carve out her own identity while also honouring her father’s legacy.
