Parelcha Raja: The idol depicts the victory of good over evil

Mumbai: This year's Parelcha Raja idol depicts the victory of good over evil. The Ganpati idol can be seen slaying the evil king Mahishasur with a sword.

Though the decoration at the pandal is very understated and the organisers have not given much emphasis on that part, but the towering idol of Lord Ganesha speaks for itself.

Since it was the sixth day of the festival, there wasn't much crowd that could be seen. It was near to a Government school in Parel, so a lot of school kids were spotted inside the Mandal.

Also we could see a fair outside and kids having fun on the giant wheel.
