Betty Cantrell was born on September 1, 1994 in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Betty was first named ‘Baciliky’ (which means royalty), The name was derived from her Greek grandmother. Well, this is not so ironic now!

She is the second Miss Georgia to be crowned Miss America. The first one to take the prize home was Nave Jane Langley in 1953.

What is more surprising is that Betty did not compete in beauty pageants until late 2013. However, once she entered the fashion world, she did manage to bag several titles.

Her lists of titles include Miss Presidential Pathway 2014, Miss Georgia 2015 apart from the much talked about Miss America pageants.

Being born to Mike and Tassie Cantrell, both of whom are physical therapists, it comes as no surprise that she has a well maintained and a super attractive body structure.

21-year-old Betty is currently pursuing her vocal training at Mercer University, Georgia. No wonder, she wooed the judges with the song ‘Tu Tu Piccolo Iddio’ during the talent round.

She even knows how to drive a John Deere tractor apart from the knowledge of plowing fields and handling a shotgun. What an inspiration, Betty!
