New Delhi: Actress Raveena Tandon, who is making a full-fledged comeback with the bilingual project 'Gin Liya Aasmaan', says she had been waiting to work in a children's film for a long time.
"Loving doing 'Gin Liya Aasman' as it is a beautiful emotional story about a mom and her small child," Raveena posted on her Twitter page.
The 37-year-old, who was last seen in 'Bbuddah...Hoga Tera Baap', will be seen as a mother to a six-year-old boy in the bilingual movie "Gin Liya Aasman". It is being made in Hindi and Marathi.
Though she was the chairperson of Children's Film Society of India (CFSI) for two years, starting 2003, Raveena never got a chance to feature in a childnren's film in her two decades long career.
"When I was chairperson for the CFSI, I'd be asked, when eventually will I ever work in a children's film. I was willing, never got the opportunity or a good script where I could be involved. When this script came to me, just completely loved it...overdue, eventually doing a good kiddie film," added the ravishing actress.
Raveena has two children - six-year-old daughter, Rasha, and four-year-old son Ranbir.
