The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education has announced the results of the High School and Intermediate examinations. With this, 82.60 per cent of students passed the Intermediate exams, while 89.55 per cent passed the High school exams.
Dhruv Chauhan, a student of Rose Bell Public School in Vijayanagar, Ghaziabad, has secured 96.4% marks in the class 12th examination, scoring 482 out of 500. Dhruv has topped Ghaziabad by securing 8th rank in the state.
In an interview with Local18, Dhruv attributed his success to the support of his father and brother, who taught and encouraged him like a teacher at home. He also credited his teachers for his good marks and said that they always kept doubt-clearing sessions on priority.
He expressed his surprise at achieving the 8th rank in Uttar Pradesh and said that he did not expect it but was confident of scoring well. While giving a message to the students, Dhruv emphasised the importance of maintaining a balanced study routine and dedicating a few hours to studies every day, followed by regular revision. He aspires to become a doctor in the future and will prepare for the NEET exam to pursue his goal.
He also highlighted the significance of maintaining a social circle and said that talking to friends helped him overcome study-related boredom.
