A team of special police kept a vigil against the gang for some time now after they rescued a girl from a brothel at Chandrapur in the neighbouring Maharashtra state. The girl’s parents filed a missing report with the Intezarganj police in April. During investigation, the police found out that she was cheated in the name of love by one Vijay, who sold her off in the red light area of Mumbai.
