Security breach in Jodhpur jail, inmates upload selfies on Facebook

Jaipur: In a major security breach, inmates in a Jodhpur jail were found updating their posts and uploading selfies on social networking sites.

After the incident came to light the jail authorities now intend to install phone jammers inside the jail complex for security.

The incident is a serious one as possessing mobile phones allows them to communicate with the outside world. In various jurisdictions laws have been passed wherein penalties have been put on inmates who possess mobile devices.
