Qureshi pitches for better facilities at Piran Kaliyar shrine

Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi on Sunday underlined the need for expansion of facilities at the revered shrine of Piran Kaliyar visited by devotees from all over the world.

After paying obeisance at Sufi saint Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari's Dargah where the annual urs celebrations are underway, he said considering the importance of the centre of faith it needed better facilities.

The Governor said a roadmap for expansion of facilities at the shrine in the state should be worked out for devotees. He also advocated setting up a super speciality hospital in the area.
