Noida (UP): Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, the main suspects in the Noida child killings case, on Thursday, were sent to CBI remand till January 25.
Early on Thursday, Moninder and Surendra were produced before a Noida court.
A team of the central investigating agency arrived in Noida to take charge of the investigation just a day after CBI took over the probe into the gruesome serial killing of children and women in Nithari village.
A three-member team of CBI arrived in Noida and discussed the case with Noida police officials.
The CBI officials re-registered some of the 19 cases of killings reported in Nithari, in which Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli are the main suspects.
A team of Noida police officials handed over all the details pertaining to the case to CBI's headquarters on Wednesday.
CBI's entry into the investigations followed three days of sparring between the Centre and Uttar Pradesh government over issuing a formal notification on the issue.
