Jammu: The Centre must tell Pakistan that the bilateral dialogue process cannot go on if the killing of Hindus continued in Jammu and Kashmir, said BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday.
Pakistan has a "wider game plan" to force migration of Hindus from Jammu and Kashmir. "The situation is becoming serious in Jammu and Kashmir with terrorist activities increasing day by day causing insecurity among the people, especially minority Hindus," he said.
"The surge in terrorists activities is only to force Hindus migrate from the hilly districts of Jammu division under a wider Pakistani game plan," he said.
Earlier Hindus from the Valley were made to flee under such a plan, he said.
Naidu, who was here to participate in the BJP's Satyagraha against killings of Hindus, alleged that the UPA government has "no policy, clarity, roadmap" to face the challenge in the border state.
"The government has failed miserably to safeguard the life and property of innocent citizens. The Central government must formulate a policy and firmly tell Pakistan that dialogue cannot continue when killings are going on in the state, he said.
"Dialogue can wait but killings must stop. The Centre must adopt a hard line on terrorists," Naidu said.
