THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Navarathri festival at the Sreekanteswaram Sree Durgadevi temple began with Mahaganapathi homam at 5 a.m. on Monday. Laksharchana will be conducted on all days from 7.30 a.m. undre the leadership of temple thantri Dr M Sambasivan. `Samooha Sadya’ will be held on October 5, Mahanavami day. from 12 noon. Eminent musicians will perform music concerts in the evenings. `Vidyarambham’ will be conducted in the morning of October 6 followed by Lalitha homam, Vasudhara and Mangalabhishekam.
