Mumbai: The Mumbai Police on Friday arrested singer Ankit Tiwari on rape charges. The complainant was allegedly his girlfriend.
Tiwari was arrested early in the morning.
Tiwari shot into fame after his song 'Sunn Raha Hai' in recent Bollywood hit 'Aashiqui 2'.
Tiwari has also sung in films like 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', 'Ek Villain', 'Bhaag Johnny' and 'Samrat & Co.'.
