New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Monday recorded the statements of the family members of 23-year-old Geetika Sharma, who committed suicide on Saturday night alleging harassment at the hands of ex-Haryana MoS for Home, Gopal Kanda, who also happened to be the MD of the MDLR Airlines where she had joined work, but later quit.

The police also seized her laptop and diary and handed it over to forensic experts.

Meanwhile, the Gurgaon Police reached the residence of Kanda on Monday.

Kanda resigned on Sunday after her alleged suicide note accusing him of harassment was found. Kanda claimed that he was not in direct touch with Geetika.

Sources, however, say that he and Geetika's family may have travelled together in the past.

Kanda is yet to be arrested.
