HAVERI: Even as the internal bickering is rattling the ruling BJP, a seer spoke out in favour of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa by urging the BJP national leaders to provide him a suitable post.Balehonnur Rambhapuri Peethadhipati Veerasomeshwar Shivacharaiah Jagadguru told media persons at Byadgi town on Sunday that the internal strife in the BJP cannot be solved unless the party high command intervenes.Before leaving for Kervadi village in Byadgi taluk to attend a religious programme, the seer told reporters that Yeddyurappa has struggled hard to bring the BJP to power in Karnataka.He said that Yeddyurappa was not only a leader of Veerashiva community but of all communities. “Yeddyurappa may be facing several charges but it does not mean that he is guilty. In case the BJP leaders neglect him, they will face trouble in the coming days,” he said.When asked whether mutts were turning into political centres, he said that mutts are public properties and all party leaders visit mutts. It is the duty of the mutt head to guide them to the right path, he added.
