HYDERABAD: Four persons ended their lives reportedly due to family related problems in separate incidents on city outskirts since Friday. While three hanged themselves to death, an young college girl consumed poison after her parents rejected her proposal to marry a boy of her choice.In the first incident, a 30-year-old person hanged himself reportedly depressed over frequent quarrels with his wife. According to police, J Pradeep Kumar married Mohana Reddy nearly seven years back and they had three children. They are residents of Mansoorabad on city. According to police and relatives of the deceased, Mohana Reddy allegedly used to make an issue of Pradeep Kumar’s caste and rue marrying him whenever the couple argued over petty matters. On Friday night also, the couple had an argument over some family issue and Pradeep was allegedly abused over his caste. Depressed over this, Pradeep hanged himself from the ceiling fan with a saree. In another incident, a private photographer B Raj Kumar (25) hanged himself after he was deserted by his wife. Raj Kumar’s wife, Rani registered a case of dowry harassment against him and was staying with her family separately. Raj Kumar reportedly made several attempts to compromise with Rani but in vain. On December 8 night, Raj Kumar hanged himself to death from ceiling fan.Meanwhile, a 28-year person, L Naresh hanged himself to death in his house at Shubhodaya Nagar in Saroornagar. According to police, Naresh married a woman of his choice Nageshwari against the wishes of his family. After his marriage, his family members were reluctant to accept him and his wife. Naresh left behind a suicide note and hanged himself on Friday night. In another incident, a BA first year student S Jyothi (19) ended her life in Shamshabad. Jyoti reportedly fell in love with a boy which was opposed by her parents. A few months back, her parents came and snatched away Jyothi’s mobile phone to ensure she could not talk to the boy. Depressed over this, Jyothi left home on Friday evening. Her body was found in a vacant house near her home on Saturday.
