A 65-year-old man was killed allegedly by his son in Parsendi village under Taalgaon police station area in Sitapur over a property dispute, the police said.

A 65-year-old man was killed allegedly by his son in Parsendi village under Taalgaon police station area in Sitapur over a property dispute, the police said.

Kishan, who had a property dispute with his younger son Rajaram (32), was found dead with his throat slit on Saturday morning.

Victim's another son has lodged a complaint against his younger brother, the police said.

The family has alleged that last night when Kishan was sleeping, Rajaram killed him with some sharp-edged weapon and fled.

Investigation have been launched and the body has been sent for post mortem examination, the police said adding that a search was on to nab the accused.
