180 kg ganja seized

HYDERABAD: Police on Monday arrested a person for transporting 180 kg ganja worth Rs 8 lakh. Tappachabutra inspector S Murali Krishna said that they detained one Bhaskar Rao, a native of Rajahmundry when he was carrying 180 kg ganja in a Tata Sierra vehicle. As the vehicle reached Gudimalkpaur market, police detained the vehicle and arrested Bhaskar Rao. A case was registered and investigation is on.
