How to Make Homemade Spa Kit for Mum
How to Make Homemade Spa Kit for Mum
Your mum's birthday or Mother's-day is coming soon and you don't know what to get for her. You probably don't have any cash in your pocket, and as far as we know, all mums love going to the spa. So why not make a homemade, easy and cheap spa kit for her?
Steps

Honey and milk bubble bath

Pour one tablespoon of honey into a tube container.

Pour a cup of milk in on top of the honey. It's up to you what type of milk.

Pour in one quarter of a cup of unscented shampoo into the bottle or tube container. This helps it make the bubbles.

Add 3 to 4 puffs of any type of hand soap.

Mix everything and then put the bubble bath into the basket. At this stage, you can put in a few drops of food coloring.

Body Scrub

Find a container for your body scrub. Any empty container will do, a kilner jar is a good option.

Put 4 tablespoons (59.1 ml) sugar or salt into the container. The sugar or salt helps with exfoliation, which is the removal of dead skin cells from the surface of the skin.

Put 1 tablespoon (14.8 ml) of your choice of oils into the container. If you want, at this point, put in two drops of food coloring, not too much or it may stain your skin. You can also add flavor extracts for the scent (not edible!).

Mix well and put it in the basket.

Honey and Oil hair treatment

Choose a tube container. Fill it up halfway with honey.

Fill up the other half with extra virgin olive oil.

Shake it all up and then you are done. Put it in the basket.

Lip scrub

Choose a container for the lip scrub and fill it up halfway with sugar.

Add one teaspoon of olive oil.

Add a few drops of vitamin-E.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of honey.

Mix it and then you are done. Put it in the basket, of course.

Soap Jellies

Mix your gelatin into one cup of hot water in a bowl. Make sure it dissolves properly. The bowl does not have to be any certain material, but plastic or metal is recommended. If your water is extremely hot and you are afraid of melting the plastic, use a metal bowl. Hot water melting plastic is not common at all, so don't worry.

Pour one quarter cup of soap into your bowl. Mix and mix.

Add food coloring into the mixture.

Refrigerate for two hours and then you are done. Put it into a container and put that in the basket.

Salt and oil foot scrub

Fill up a suitable container halfway with sea salt.

Fill the other half with olive oil. Mix well.

Put in vanilla essence if desired but this is not necessary. Any essences, like rose oil, lavender oil, or something else that smells good will also work.

Put it in your basket.

What's your reaction?
