The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the admit cards for the Circle Based Officers (CBO) online examination scheduled for January 21, 2024. Candidates aspiring to appear for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in. The admit cards will be accessible to candidates from January 16 to January 21, 2024.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts. For Shift-1, candidates need to report by 8:30 a.m., and the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In Shift-2, the reporting time is 12:30 p.m., and the exam is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The State Bank of India aims to hire 5447 Circle Based Officers, which includes 5280 regular vacancies and 167 backlog vacancies. The selection process involves an Online Test, Screening, and Interviews to choose the final candidates for these positions.
Steps to Download SBI CBO Admit Card 2023:
Step 1: Open the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the careers link.
Step 3: Under the Join SBI link, click on ‘Current Openings.’
Step 4: Locate and click on the link ‘SBI CBO 2023 admit card.’
Step 5: Enter the required login details and click on ‘Submit.’
Step 6: Verify the details on the admit card and download the page.
Step 7: Ensure to keep a hard copy of the admit card for future reference.
The online examination for SBI CBO 2023 will consist of Objective Tests carrying 120 marks and a Descriptive Test worth 50 marks. After completing the Objective Test, candidates will immediately type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer. Notably, the objective test is divided into four sections with different timings while the Descriptive test is centered around the English Language, specifically focusing on Letter Writing and Essay composition. The bank will set the minimum passing marks overall, without specific qualifying marks for each section.
To qualify for the SBI CBO 2023 appointment, candidates need to successfully navigate both the online exam and the subsequent interview phase. The final merit list, determining the selection of candidates, will be compiled based on the combined performance in the Objective and Descriptive tests conducted online, as well as the interview.
