The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has issued the seat allotment results for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round today, August 20. As per the official announcement, the board allots seats on the basis of merit, taking into account the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 common rank list rank for the vacant seats. The acceptance fee for a seat is Rs 25,000 for applicants who have been allotted for the first time and who fall under the categories of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

The CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) Supernumerary Round is specifically conducted for candidates aspiring to secure admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) such as NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat.
