Even before the film hits theatres, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule is creating waves on the internet. With the release of the film’s exciting teaser and first single, Pushpa Pushpa, fans are super excited as they look forward to the other songs and the official trailer. As the Pushpa Pushpa fever has stormed social media, it has become a new favourite among fans, prompting them to recreate the epic hook steps and their own versions. In one such instance, a video going viral on the internet shows a college student imitating the ‘shoe drop’ step from the Pushpa Pushpa song at his graduation ceremony.

Shared widely across social media platforms, the video is said to have been captured at a foreign college, where the student walks on the stage to receive his graduation degree. With the Pushpa Pushpa song playing in the background, the student goes on to show his dancing skills, acing the hook steps to the beats of the lyrics.

As soon as he performed on the stage, one could hear his friends screaming aloud from the seats. Shared on an Allu Arjun fan page, the video has gained more than 60,000 views and over 2,000 likes. Social media users also exuded their excitement in the comment section.

Well, this is just one single example of the craze that the song has created. Earlier, South Korean singer Aoora also joined the bandwagon to do the Pushpa Pushpa steps. During an award ceremony, the global singer did the dance steps on the red carpet.

David Warner’s admiration for Pushpa Pushpa

Not to forget, the song also captivated international cricketer David Warner. Expressing his admiration, Warner commented on Allu Arjun’s Instagram post and said that he wishes to learn the new hookstep. “Oh dear, how good is this. Now I’ve got some work to do,” he wrote. The Pushpa star also responded to the comment and playfully said, “It’s easy. I will show you when we meet.”

Their latest interaction has added much to the ongoing buzz surrounding the film. Notably, Warner is known for famously doing the iconic Pushpa hand gesture and Srivalli steps during cricket matches. He also shared reels featuring himself as the beloved Pushpa Raj, showcasing his immense support for the film.

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit theatres on August 15, 2024.
