A food vendor reinvented the traditional Pani Puri by serving it with dry fruits, honey and thandai, along with gold and silver foil.

India is known for its vibrant culture, rich heritage and mouthwatering street food. However, the internet has witnessed some bizarre food experiments in recent years, leaving many both intrigued and disgusted. One such bizarre combination with the beloved Pani Puri has emerged from the streets of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A street food vendor has reinvented the traditional dish by serving it with dry fruits and thandai. While many prefer roadside carts, there are always concerns about hygiene and water quality.

According to the vloggers, Shareat is countries first vendor to serve hygienic fried Pani Puri. Their innovative dish features six puris filled with dry fruits, thandai, along with gold and silver foil. Despite the cleanliness, social media reactions have been mixed, as some are praising the creativity, while others argue that nothing can beat the taste of roadside Pani Puri.

In the video, the preparation begins with the vendor presenting the dish on a gold plate and it includes six perfectly fried puris. As the preparation begins, the vendor adds shredded almonds, along with a few whole pieces of cashew and pistachios to each puri. To further enhance the flavour, the vendor adds a generous amount of honey and serves it with thandai in six small glasses. Finally, each puri is carefully covered with gold and silver foils. Sharing the video, the vlogger wrote, “Gold & Silver Panipuri. Shareat is India’s first Hygiene Live Fried Panipuri. Actually love the taste, it’s obviously a sweet dish, the fried poori and other ingredients tastes so great together. If you have sweet tooth, you gonna love it, also their regular range of panipuri is a must try too.”

Ever since the food vlogger shared the video of gold and silver thandai Pani Puri on Instagram, it has taken the internet by storm. Reacting to the clip, a user shared, “Hum thele pe theek hai. (We are fine with roadside stall).”

Another suggested, “It Should Be Called Bappi Lahiri Pani puri.” An individual criticising the dish wrote, “Pani Puri banani thi, dry fruits puri banadi. (It was supposed to be Pani Puri, but ended up making dry fruit puri).”

“Atleast, pani Puri ko real and authentic rehne do. (Atleast let the Pani Puri stay real and authentic),” a comment read. Another joked, “Cheese is missing, else networth would have got increased more. Unbelievable and disgusting.”

One more wrote, “Total waste of money how can someone be so being educated fool to eat such worst things.”

So far, the video has garnered over 8 lakh views and counting.
