Quaden Bayles has come a long way and has become a certified movie star, as he landed a role in George Miller's latest film, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

A few years ago, he captured headlines globally when he faced constant bullying due to his dwarfism. A heartbreaking video showed nine-year-old Quaden in tears after facing abuse from his schoolmates. His mother shared the video to shed light on the impact of bullying, especially on children with disabilities. Fast forward to 2024, Quaden has come a long way and has become a certified movie star, as he landed a role as War Pup in George Miller’s latest film, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

The movie explores the early life of the fearless Furiosa, featuring Anya Taylor-Joy playing the younger version of the character originally played by Charlize Theron. Quaden shared screen with Chris Hemsworth, who plays Warlord Dementus, along with Tom Burke, Lachy Hulme, Elsa Pataky Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Zoe Kravitz, among others. Sharing the picture from premiere night, Quaden wrote, “THE 3 AMIGOS – Dementus aka Chris Hemsworth, War Pup & Furiosa herself Anya Taylor-Joy.

Since Quaden Bayles shared his picture with Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’s lead cast members, it has gone viral and garnered tons of positive response.

Before Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Quaden Bayles also worked in George Miller’s 2022 movie, Three Thousand Years of Longing, featuring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.

In the viral video from 2020, Quaden Bayles was seen crying while sitting in his mother’s car and asked for a knife to end his life. His mother, Yarraka Bayles, livestreamed the video on Facebook to show the devastating effects of bullying. She pleaded with viewers to educate their children, families and friends about discrimination. The emotional video not only caught the attention of George Miller but Quaden also received support of other celebrities, including Hugh Jackman.
