Shiv Thakare, who rose to fame after winning Bigg Boss Marathi and a participant in Salman Khan’s hosted show, is currently capturing hearts with his dance skills on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. The actor, known for his playful nature, recently took to Instagram to show his mischievous side. The clip features Shiv in a spooky attire resembling like Chiyaan Vikram’s character from the blockbuster movie I. In the footage, he turned into a beggar on the streets of Mumbai and played a prank with everyone he came across, by attempting to ask for money from unsuspecting individuals. The realistic-looking blisters covering his face and hands added a convincing touch, as people failed to recognize the popular artists in the eerie attire. Some are seen getting startled, while others run away seeing him in the hilarious video.
The prank video opens with Shiv preparing for the act as makeup artists apply prosthetics on him. As the video progresses, the former Bigg Boss 16 runner-up approaches people on the streets, requesting money. Reactions of the people were mixed, as some refused to even see him, while others were shocked by his frightening appearance. A woman in an auto got so scared, that she could be seen urging him to leave her alone. Interestingly, towards the end of the video, a kind auto rickshaw driver is seen giving him some money. Sharing the video, the artist wrote, “Prank went wrong.”

Shiv Thakare’s followers and fans were not only impressed by his commendable act but also expressed appreciation for his team’s realistic makeup skills. The video garnered a positive response, while some fans added humour to the comments section, as they were amused by the various reactions of the innocent people captured in the video.
The actor is currently impressing fans with his performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 (JDJ). Despite consistently charming judges with back-to-back interesting acts, a recent performance didn’t receive the expected praise, which left his fans disappointed. Reports suggest that some fans even expressed their dissatisfaction by criticizing the show’s makers, alleging favouritism towards contestant Shoaib Ibrahim over Shiv. Fans argue that JDJ is a dance competition, but judges Malaika Arora, Farah Khan and Arshad Warsi always focus more on praising Shoaib’s acting skills rather than Shiv’s dance talents.
Despite getting strict reactions from judges, Shiv maintains a strong fan base, which consistently makes him the top contender on the show. His dedicated fans support him and vote for him in large numbers to ensure he reaches the finale and wins the show. The grand finale of JDJ is scheduled for the first week of March.
