Bigg Boss 17: Abhishek Kumar’s Reel Mom Gurvinder Reacts To His Bond With Isha Malviya

The complex dynamics among Isha Malviya, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel have become a central focus in Bigg Boss 17. The show has seen former lovers Isha and Abhishek trying to navigate their lives within the confines of the Bigg Boss house. Adding to the drama, Isha’s current boyfriend, Samarth Jurel, recently entered the show. Abhishek Kumar has visibly struggled since Samarth’s arrival, leading to an outpouring of sympathy from viewers and even some of Abhishek’s former co-stars offering their support. Gurvinder Kaur, who portrayed Abhishek’s on-screen mother in Udaariyaan, shared her insights on Isha and Abhishek’s relationship and breakup.

While speaking about Abhishek Kumar in an interview with  Bollywood Spy, Gurvinder Kaur said, “He is very good at heart, bahut jaldi hurt ho jata hai, Bahut jaldi chota dil kar leta hai (He gets hurt easily and takes things to heart).” On the other hand, while talking about Isha Malviya, the actress stated, “Isha Bhi jab usne join kiya tha Udaariyaan, woh 18 ki bhi nahi thi. As a co-actor, bahut ache se milti thi bahut adab se milti thi. Uske saath meri kabhi personal baat chit nahi hoti thi, as a co-artist hi baat hoti thi. Usne mother humesha unke saath hote the (Isha was not yet 18 when she joined the show. She met us politely as co-stars. I did not speak to her personally; it was mostly professional. Her mother used to be with her.”

During the interview, Gurvinder Kaur stated that the on-and-off nature of Isha and Abhishek Kumar is due to their “immaturity.” Speaking about their breakup, the actress shared that Abhishek could not move on,  “yeh bahut rota tha, Rote hue to humnein dekha hai isse, ye bahut roya, Bahut maafi maangi, usko wapas lane ke liye (He would cry a lot, we have seen him cry at times. He asked for her forgiveness a lot of times and tried to win her back.)”

Samarth Jurel earlier claimed that Abhishek was violent in his relationship with Isha. Speculatively, Isha and Abhishek broke up with each other because of the latter’s behaviour. However, Gurvinder Kaur lent her support to Abhishek and said, “Itna pata hai ki woh aapne aap ko to harm kar sakta hai, anxiety mein, gusse mein aakar. Woh kisi aur ko harm nahi kar sakta. 99 percent achai hai uss ladke mein ( I know this much that he can harm himself in anger or anxiety. But he can never harm others. 99 pecent he has good qualities in him).”
