Sreejita De is known for her remarkable performances in popular shows like Uttaran, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, and Nazar. However, her fascinating journey on Bigg Boss 16 truly brought her into the limelight. The actress had a court marriage with her boyfriend Michael on June 30, followed by a grand white wedding on July 1 in Germany. Now, the couple are preparing to get married once again. The duo is set to host a traditional Indian wedding in January or February in Goa next year.
In an interview with HT, Sreejita shared, “My parents are coming to spend the festive season with us in Mumbai, and Michael’s parents will be flying down from Germany for our Indian wedding. We had planned to have the traditional wedding in November but had to push it back because of some work commitments. Now, the wedding will be happening at the beginning of next year in Goa, mostly in January or February, because after that the weather is quite hot.”
Sreejjita further revealed that the Indian wedding will be a typical Bengali wedding complete with all the customs and functions, ranging from mehendi to haldi. While her parents initially preferred the wedding in Kolkata, she wanted it to take place in Goa. She said, “We both are beach lovers and Goa has an exceptional place in our hearts. We have spent eight months in the state during lockdown. That’s when we fell in love with the place. My parents wanted the wedding to be held in Kolkata, but I insisted it happen in Goa”.
Recently, Sreejita De treated her followers to glimpses of her Goa trip. In the pictures, he was seen enjoying quality time with her husband, Michael. Her captivating pictures showcased her in a chic bralette top and shorts, while Michael exuded charm in a crisp white full-sleeve t-shirt, complemented by a printed shirt and denim shorts.
