Xiaomi Launches Mi Note 3 Variant With 4GB RAM, Reduced Price
Xiaomi has announced a new variant for its Mi Note 3 smartphone in China. The new Mi Note 3 will now come with a 4GB RAM, as compared to the 6GB offering on the previous models.

Mi Note 3 was launched by Xiaomi in China back in September alongside the Mi Mix 2. At the time of its launch, Xiaomi had announced two storage variants for the smartphone, with 64GB and 128GB internal storages, both carrying a 6GB RAM. Now Xiaomi has announced a new variant of the smartphone which will sport a 4GB RAM and hence will be available at a reduced price.

In addition to this, both the 6GB variants of the Mi Note 3 have also received a price cut by the Chinese smartphone maker. The price of the Mi Note 3 with 6GB RAM, 64GB storage has been brought down to CNY 2,299 (~Rs 22,500) from its original launch price of CNY 2,499 (~Rs 24,500), while the 128GB storage variant will now retail at CNY 2,699 (~Rs 26,400). The newly launched Mi Note 3 with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage will be available for purchase at a price of CNY 1,999 (~Rs 19,500).

None of the smartphones from the Mi Note line-up have been launched in India. Launched in China back in September, the Mi Note 3 comes as a mid-segment smartphone by Xiaomi which carries a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920) display and is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC. The Mi Note 3 also sports a dual camera setup with one 12-megapixel (f/1.8) wide-angle lens and another 12-megapixel (f/2.6) sensor telephoto lens. At the front, the Mi Note 3 carries a 16-megapixel camera. It runs on a 3500 mAh battery.
