New Delhi: After working with Twitter for over four years, Shailesh Rao has resigned as the vice president (for Asia Pacific, the Americas and emerging markets) of the micro-blogging site.
"After 4+ yrs growing the international business at Twitter, it’s time for new challenges. Around through July, then off to plot the next chapter," said Rao in a tweet.

Rao had joined Twitter in April 2012. Before joining Twitter, Rao had been working with Google as managing director of media and platform sales for Japan and Asia-Pacific.
