Samsung has announced that the new Samsung Galaxy M12 will launch in India on March 11. Currently, its dedicated page on the Samsung India website is live that reveals its notable specifications alongside the design. The latest smartphone from the budget Galaxy M-series first appeared on the official Samsung Vietnam site in February 2021. The device packs a quad rear camera setup, a 6,000mAh battery, and a 90Hz refresh rate display.

Samsung also announced the development in a statement where the company notes that the Samsung Galaxy M12‘s sale in the country will take place via Amazon and Samsung offline and online stores. It is unclear whether the sale will start on the launch day itself. Notably, tipster Mukul Sharma had stated that the smartphone will be priced under Rs 12,000 in India. It might come in Attractive Black, Elegant Blue, and Trendy Emerald Green colour options.

As per the dedicated page on the Samsung India website, the Samsung Galaxy M12 is said to pack a 90Hz display with a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. However, the Samsung Galaxy M12 listing on the official Vietnam site (now taken down) had revealed that the phone features a 6.5-inch TFT display with HD+ resolution. The quad rear camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy M12 further includes 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, two 2-megapixel portrait and macro camera sensors.
