South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched two new smartphones in China- Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in China. The Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite are new devices to the Galaxy A-series lineup and bring with it Samsung’s Infinity Display design. Both the devices run on Android 8.0 Oreo and have a fingerprint scanner at the back. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star price has been set at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,600). It comes in Black and White colour variants. The Galaxy A9 Star Lite, on the other hand, has been priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,100). The devices are already available for pre-bookings online and will be available until June 14.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Specifications:
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a screen resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. As for imaging, the smartphone comes with a dual camera module on the rear panel in 16MP + 24MP setup and a 24MP shooter on the front. The device houses a 3,700mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It also supports features like Dolby Atmos and Face Unlock and there is a fingerprint sensor at the rear panel. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS with GLONASS.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite Specifications:
The Galaxy A9 Star Lite features a 6-inch full-HD+ display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with Adreno 506 GPU chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In terms of optics, the phone equips a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary sensors of f/1.7 aperture alongside a secondary 5MP f/1.9 sensor. For the front, it has a 24-megapixel camera sensor with a f/1.9 aperture. The device houses a smaller 3500mAh battery and supports Samsung Pay Mini. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), HT40, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
