The mutual separation of former married couple Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya created a lot of buzz three years ago. It is widely known that both did not separate on amicable terms. Since their separation in 2021, they have not been seen together. On Koffee with Karan, Samantha had said that the animosity between her and Naga Chaitanya was such that if they were locked in a room together, all sharp objects needed to be taken out from the room. With the bad blood between the both evident, it came as a surprise to fans when reports went viral recently that the former couple had shared the stage in an event for OTT giant Amazon Prime Video in Mumbai.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is part of the OTT platform’s series Citadel: Honey Bunny; hence, she was present at the event. She was seen with her close friend Tammannah Bhatia and her actor-boyfriend Vijay Varma. She was also seen touching filmmaker Karan Johar’s feet at the event.
Naga Chaitanya was present at the event for the success of his recent web series Dhootha, which also premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Although reports claim that the former couple shared the stage, there have been no photos or videos from the event to prove the same. So, the speculation of them sharing the stage at the event is misleading. They were part of different projects and took stage, separately.
The event was star-studded, with actors including Priyanka Chopra, Suriya, Shahid Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tamannaah Bhatia and Naga Chaitanya’s rumoured girlfriend Sobhita Dhulipala attending.
Samantha and Chaitanya got married in 2017 after 7 years of dating since their film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2009. They decided to separate from each other in October 2021 during their fourth year of marriage. While Samantha is taking a hiatus from work after her diagnosis of myositis, Naga Chaitanya will be seen in Thandel opposite Sai Pallavi.
